DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I bought an Angie’s List deal in March but did not need the work done until June. I put all of that in the comment area, but was never contacted by the company. When I initially purchased the deal, the reviews were A’s. When I messaged the company 2 weeks before I needed the services performed, they never responded. When I called them a couple of days later, a guy answered hello, not the company name, and said he would have to call me back because he was with a customer. He never called back, so I called him the following day to set up an appointment for the deal I had bought on Angie’s List. He said he could come out the following Thursday @ 11. The following Thursday @ 11:15, I called again when he had not arrived. He said that Angie’s List had quit paying him and he hadn’t been doing work through them for a while and that he would not be able to do the work after all. I asked him why he didn’t mention this when we scheduled the appointment, and he responded that he didn’t realize it was through Angie’s List, even though I had told him it was. He refused to do the services and hung up on me. DO NOT USE THE COMPANY!!!!!!!

I researched duct cleaners in San Antonio and quickly learned the NADCA certification has merit. Alamo Steam Team is one of only a few listed on it’s website for SA. They sounded competent over the phone and quoted me a moderate (but not free) price. Be very leery of the $89 and $49 specials listed in fliers and coupon sites. I wouldn’t work for free and you get what you pay for (or you get hustled). Jeremiah and assistant came over to clean for me today but upon inspection made an alternative suggestion. My ducts are fairly clean and he was very honest with me and didn’t see the value of cleaning my air system. I would have reached the same conclusion had I known how to inspect earlier, so I am very happy to inform everyone these guys are legit.

I questioned why my appointment was canceled due to rain and the guy hangs up on me. I call back and Im back to full mailbox again. Called corporate office and submitted a bad review to the BBB and Yelp.com Hopefully someone will address this bad business practice. Again, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Just to be fair, I have only used Aladdin one time. One time, however, was enough. I brought them a mid-century oriental rug for cleaning, and they assured me that they knew what they were doing. They said that the wool fibers would be tested for colorfastness and that they would use the best method and utmost care when cleaning the rug. That was a load of bologna. When the rug came back it looked a little beat-up. apparently their rotary scrubber had worn the pile somewhat, as well as done some minor damage to the edges. Thankfully the fringes were left intact, but they did have some color bleed into them in a spotty fashion. What really bugged me the most was that the areas of white, the “”latchhook”” design that outlines the central “”gul”” motifs, were a dingy grey in certain areas. When I pointed this out to the tech and later his supervisor, they both denied seeing any kind of inconsistency or color run whatsoever. They did offer to re-wash the rug, though. There was no way I was letting them get their hands on it again. it was just to risky. The moral of the story is: Take your hand-knotted, hand-made, valuable oriental rugs to rug dealer that washes rugs by hand, not machine. It will save you a lot of aggravation.

Let me start off by saying the selection of rugs was a little overwhelming but the sales staff was great. I went to the Rug Store hoping to find a better quality rug which they definitley had but during my shoping experience i couldnt help but notice that there were two children running around the store screaming and throwing things ontop of constantly interupting me while I was shopping. I asked a sales associate who the children belonged to and he replied “”the Owner””, I couldn’t believe it. After a little over half an hour I couldn’t take anymore and left. If i wanted to deal with unsupervised children i would have went to Wal-Mart. I hope for other shoppers this is not an everyday occurance.

Unprofessional, Additional Surprise Charges, Poor Customer Service, Borderline Scam!First of all 2 Stars is generous…the only reason Lone Star Carpet Care and Restoration received any stars is because of the guys that actually did the work. I purchased this Groupon for $100, and it was supposed to be good for a basic carpet cleaning…or so I thought. I was given a time frame to have the carpets cleaned between 1pm-5pm. My family and I had already moved out of the area, so we were trying to coordinate our cleaning with our trip back to San Antonio…At 8am I called Paul at LSCC, and got his voice mail. I then sent him a text to confirm the appointment and time frame. 1pm came around and I still had not had any response to the missed call, nor the text message, so I called again and even sent an email(Emails and Texts are the appropriate channels to reach Paul, per Paul and his voice mail message). Still no response…My wife then called Paul once around 2pm, it went to voice mail. She immediately called back and Paul answered. Before Paul abruptly hung up on her, he was very impatient and lacking compassion for her and was not listening to her concern. We were aware of the time frame, but were only trying to verify that our appointment was still set. You see, we had already moved and had a 2 hour drive to get to the house that appointment was set for. We were only looking for a simple confirmation, but instead were met with hostility and absolutely no customer service. Once they arrived to clean the carpet, I was informed that beyond paying an additional $40 charge for stairs, that I would have to pay a $20 gratuity, Disposal fee, taxes…bringing the total to $117. This was not even including the $100 Groupon I already paid for. The total for the whole transaction was $217. This amount did not include special attention areas…it was a basic carpet cleaning! Definitely feel dooped and taken…Would not recommend EVER…It is too bad Paul is unprofessional, because his workers were kind and got the job done.

Amazed at the results. Back in November, we had the carpet of our newly bought rental property cleaned by this company. When we bought the property, the carpet was filthy.
