Back in October 2009 we ordered new carpeting for our hallway and stairs. We were told that before they would place any orders that we would have to pay in full for the entire purchase minus the installation fee. When we asked why, since we thought we would just have to give a percentage as a downpayment, we were advised that that was their longstanding store policy and that all their customers are required to pay in full. Recently (4-7-11) a close friend ordered flooring from Vonderheide and she was ASKED how much she wanted to put down as a downpayment. Knowing of my experience she asked if she didn’t have to pay in full and the salesperson advised her “only if she wanted to”! We will never deal with this company again. It appears that they are selective as to which customers are required to pay in full!!
