STAY AWAY!!! I needed three rugs to be cleaned before Thanksgiving so I unwisely chose these people for service. I was serviced by someone named Ernie (probably the owner) his son and his nephew. They showed up without an extension cord for their cleaning machine and without water asking if they can use my extension cord and water from the tub!!!! I said fine but in retrospect I should have sent them packing. On to the cleaning they take my rugs out into the driveway (b/c I have hardwood floors) cleaned the three rugs in 30 minutes tops. Three guys asked for my help in order to lift them. After a few hours of drying I noticed that all 3 rugs had shrunk (2 of them significantly), one was dirtier than before they had cleaned it and my red dug had bled along the edges. Unprofessional, unorganized and not worth your money. I called them and left a POLITE message, no response. Thanks douche bags.

Not happy with the service at all. Had to take four separate days off of work to meet them – once when they were late and I couldn’t wait for them anymore so we had to reschedule, another day for them to clean my carpets, another day because I wasn’t happy with the cleaning so had to have them come out again and they cancelled an hour beforehand because their employee called in sick, and a final time for them to finally redo my carpets. When I expressed my dissatisfaction that I had to take so many days off they didn’t seem to care. I also couldn’t tell that my carpets were cleaned after they came twice. I appreciate that they came out a second time free of charge but I could spot clean my carpet better. In fact, they made a stain worse than it was to begin with because they worked it so much. When I called back to get more info about the business and to complain, they stated they don’t have a physical address because they’re a mobile service, and also gave me a website address for the business that wasn’t registered. Shady business and would NOT recommend.

Important Read me now!!! I just want to say LA Carpet cleaning Service in LA is the best carpet cleaning company I’ve had come to my home and clean my carpets. The tech was more than helpful when he arrived, he looked at each room and was able to give me the set price right away, of course it was a little hire than what I thought it would be but I didn’t argue I did have some pretty heavy duty stains.. It took him about two hours to clean four rooms and a stair case of 25… and he managed to make it all look great, I mean he eliminated all of the stains and really made sure that my carpets smelled fresh too. Sooooo long story short. It was done the right way, it was cleaned, sanitized and disinfected for a very affordable and fair price. I will for sure call this company again. They are thee true professionals.

I had the pleasure of working working with Alberto and his company in December of 2009. I was in town for a short visit to get an apartment renovated. I generally don’t like to hire contractors without connections or referrals. However, we needed to get a new kitchen floor put in. First of all, this business is divided in 2: cleaners and laundry. I’m gonna talk about the laundry service only since I don’t use their cleaners service (I rather go to the one on La Brea and Third Street. They’re friendly, professional and you can see the place, clean and modern). The access for this laundromat is excelent. clients are young people mostly employees working in the entertainment industry. cleaniless is ok. hours are wonderful: 7-10 all year long. Nevertheless, if you arrive a little late, you face with the cleaning personnel that it is a little grumpy and if you go on Fridays or Saturdays at night, you can face with some homeless who like to drink beer next to the exit door by the parking lot. Now, talking about the service in itself, I hate when some washing machines (even the changing machine), steal your quarters. It is unfortunate that the owner, who does the maintenance of the whole business, in order to save some money, does not call professional maintenance services to serve his machines. Starting this year (2007), dryer machines began to malfunction, with unfortunate consecuences like puncturing clothes and eating your coins. I’ve noticed that some washing machines free some clorine liquids, dying your belongings. If you do casual laundry, I mean, if you don’t care about ruining casual clothes, it is Ok but if you have expensive clothing, go somewhere else.

Larry came out and saw my house and gave me an estimate. I approved the estimate and he told me that they will start in 2 days. I’ve been going to this cleaner for a couple years now and it is far and away the best in the city. For starters, there are always coupons available on their site. They also take competitors coupons so I literally never have to pay full price. Their location is great, always with plenty of available parking or drive up, which I typically use. I used to go to one of the other high profile LA cleaners and I had a lot of problems with buttons on my shirts being broken off and lost but at Carriage Regal, I never have any issues and they do an excellent job with laundry, press and environmentally friendly dry cleaning. And they have a great tailor who I take all my jeans to and he does a fantastic job every time! I used Capet Care three times over an 18 month period. I was pleased with their work which is why I went back to them. However I was very unhappy with the HIGH PRESSURE up sell. I got a coupon that said less than $100 to clean my carpet. (I don’t remember the exact amount.) When they got here they quoted me $600 for three rooms and my stairs. No joke. My whole house is 1200 sq feet so if I had to guess, my carpeted area is under 600 sq feet. The carpet is not too dirty because it is 2 years old and we don’t wear shoes on them. After much haggling we settled on $100. Six months go by and again I want to have my carpet cleaned. This time they wanted $600 again so we haggle again! The third time I used them, the gave me another ridiculous quote of $300. I called their head office and complained. I told them I see carpet cleaning as regular maintenance work and I have my carpet cleaned every 6 months. Like my cleaning lady, I want to pay the same price every time and not get the high pressure sales pitch. Al, the guy I spoke to said they have highly motivated sales people that work for them and I just need to say no. WRONG answer! They offer a cleaning service and I don’t appreciate the high pressure sales every time I bring them in. I told him they are obviously not interested in repeat customer because they always try to price gouge me when I have used them three times. Stay away from this company or be prepared to say no to the high pressure up sell over and over!! Note: Check out their review on Better Business Bureau website too. They have an ‘F’ based on 20 complaints. It is amazing that in this day and age, a business thinks they can get away with ‘bait and switch’, price gouging, etc.

I’ve always been a little intimidated of walking into a persian rug store, especially nicer ones in west LA. Let’s just say I only spent $350 and walked out of there w/ a beautiful area rug (which i expected to cost 1500) it was one of the many rugs suggested by the owner’s son, only after I had given him my color scheme and style in mind. He basically knew exactly what i needed for the area and only recommended things in my price range, but very patient w/ me. I got an estimate at a different rug store to see if the pricing was fair and found that i could actually sell it for $50 more than I paid! Parking on the SM blvd was easy, Glendon has meters and they even deliver large size rugs. They also pick-up your rug for maintenance and cleaning and return it to you! When it’s time to pay, you conduct your business in a lounge type setting w/ hot tea and a big screen…great place, honest prices and even better service!

This business is a fraud and I just reported them to the Better Business Bureau. I was quoted $225 for carpet cleaning at our 1,500 square foot nightclub. When the technicians arrived, they said they couldn’t clean the carpets good enough for that price and they wanted to charge $435. We agreed to $300. He said he could still use chemicals and degreaser and do a good job for that price. The job was done quickly and without ANY chemicals, degreasers or deodorizers. My maintenance crew watched them the whole time and I watched them on our security cameras. They left with the same amount of chemicals that they brought in. They never added any soap or chemicals and our carpets looked exactly the same and did not smell good. I have called 3 times a day for a week and every day I am told that the manager is in a meeting and will call me back tomorrow for sure. No manager has ever called me. I spoke directly with the technician, Eddie, and he was very defensive and refused to come back and clean the carpets right. We need to receive a full refund from this job. We had to hire a 2nd cleaning crew to come in and clean the carpets for another $300 – they did a great job for the same price we paid to La Carpet Cleaning. They keep telling me to call different phone numbers and when they answer the phone they say “Carpet Cleaning” and don’t specify a company name. I feel this isn’t even a legitimate business and they are stringing me along.
