I first heard about Pro-Tech Carpet Cleaning several years ago on a large social networking forum. The reviewers raved about the service and quality of work. I ended up using them for general carpet cleaning, living in Tukwila at the time, and had a very good experience. Last year, having moved to Kirkland since, I was in need of some cleaning. We had some pretty nasty stains on various parts of new carpet (chocolate, wine, blood, grease pencil/crayon, etc.). I called on Pro-Tech based on my previous experience and was blown away with the results. Pro-Tech’s process included a very thorough walk-through of house, noting & inspecting various stains, high-dirt areas, etc. We discussed the various stains, what product/technique would be used on each and what the likelihood would be of having the stain come out completely. It was educational to say the least. Pro-Tech doesn’t use chemicals that will damage carpet (specifically the glue backing) which made me feel at ease. With significant stains there’s no guarantee things will come out perfectly. But what I appreciated was how thoroughly we went over everything. I definitely felt that if there was a way to get the stains out without damaging the carpet, Pro-Tech would accomplish it. And that’s what happened — virtually everything came out! There’s one or two small areas that weren’t 100%, but that was expected (although you’d never notice it — it would take a critical eye to see anything). Fast forward to today. We recently got a new pet — a puppy. House breaking is all but done. As part of this we’ve had our fair share of messes. We’ve used various products and made attempts to clean things up ourselves, but lingering odors tell the tale. Pro-Tech arrived on time, inspected all soiled areas (with a black light, allowing me to actually see it), marked the affected areas and explained the process they’d use to deal with the odor. This involved saturating the areas with an oxygenated enzyme solution, allowing time for it to “”eat”” the cause and then using a powerful extraction tool to remove the liquid. They then cleaned other areas with their normal process. The odors are GONE! There is no one I will go to in the future for carpet cleaning needs other than Pro-Tech Carpet Cleaning. From the routine to the extreme, they come through!

Scott at Protech has cleaned my carpets and couches several times now. He shows up on time if not a bit early and can be trusted to let himself in and out of your home if you hide a key. He is also a small business owner operator (which being on myself I like to support). While he may not be the cheapest guy he does an excellent job and is a delight to work with. My stupid dog peed on my couch and he spot cleaned it for me, my stupid dog landed in a crock pot of chili in my car which he also cleaned for me… He’s willing to do whatever the customer needs. I wish his couch cleaning prices were cheaper but I’m overall pleased with his services and don’t mind the extra cost.
