This company is also doing business as “Houston Air Duct Cleaning”. Gavriel Ben Avi is the name of their service tech. Same office manager (Stacey) answers both companies phone numbers. Their phones are listed under Inna Rozenstein who is in a relationship with Ben! I called them for their $89 special and after they were finished cleaning the ducts there was still rat droppings, dirt and debris in my ducts! I have tried to get then to re-clean my ducts properly or give me a refund. They have refused to do either! They told me they do not offer any guarantee and if I am not happy with the job they did then too bad! NEVER use “Houston Air Duct Cleaning” OR “Speed Steam Cleaning”! They are owned and operated by the same people. Having 2 different names should tell everyone they are a scam!! I just wish I had read up more about these companies before I lost my money with them! Looking at the other reviews here, I can’t believe they even ripped off our veterans! These 2 companies “Speed Steam Cleaning” and “Houston Air Duct Cleaning” are both a scam! STAY AWAY, …far away!

This company did WONDERS in my home. I was very impressed with them as i have used a different company before and swore i would never do that service in my home again, i went against my gut a year after my first bad encounter with another company, & am glad i did. These people are monsters. Jolivette is a scam, and a business that has a richly deserved Better Business Bureau grade of F. Do not, under any circumstances, do business with them. A primary revenue source for them comes from prepaid coupon deals, with the emphasis on prepaid. If you give them your money before they provide a service, you will then begin the fun game of attempting to get them to provide the service you paid them for. First, they say to call an 800 number to make an appointment, but this number will go to an answering machine. You may leave a message, but you will not be called back. You can e-mail them to schedule an appointment, but you will not get a response. Their objective is to run out the clock on your voucher, not to actually clean. Look around other review sites to verify. But the above may be for the lucky ones. I suppose because they have to maintain some appearance that their business is to clean things, occasionally, on rare occasions, they will actually pick up the phone and take an appointment. This is where Phase 2 begins. Even though you’ve already prepaid for the service, they demand a credit card number before coming out, just in case you cancel or reschedule (they fine you if you do) or to make it easier to bill you for ordering new services (which for your convenience, they’ll sometimes add without asking). They do very poor work, and less than you’d think. This, despite the need for tort reform, is why class-action suits are actually a good thing. A few disreputable companies will nickel and dime you just enough where it’s worth their while, but not enough where it’s worth hiring an attorney. The only way to get large companies to stop this practice is to lump a ton of people together and sue them for the damages all at once. But this is a small company, so a little bit can do a lot of harm to them. If they have taken your money and you cannot get relief from the middleman on the voucher (Groupon, LivingSocial, etc.), try and get their address (look around. it changes frequently, so it may just be a PO Box) and take them to small claims court. You just have to go by court, pay a small filing fee, and they will send a process server out to get these people to come in. Sue them for what they took and your costs. If they don’t show, you’ll get a summary judgement in your favor. You do not need a lawyer. It’s very easy. By the way, as another example of their ethics, please note the reviews below this one. The earliest ones are universally horrible, and spaced out over time with different grammar and much different usernames. Then you hit the 10 or so reviews in a row that are glowing. They’re all posted 1/11/12 or 1/12/12, use a lot of exclamation points, don’t capitalize i, and have a username format of firstnamelastnamenumber, like jameswebb2241. Those are left by some agent of the company. This is how they work. Do not do business with this company. If you unfortunately have received this information too late, do not let them get away with it. They will have to answer for their actions in the long run, but you can help make it sooner rather than later.

Molly Maid Houston fired themselves today. Absolutely the worst. I scheduled them to come out to my townhouse today (initial cleaning) and every other week after. I was told that “”the girls”” would come today between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. and that they would call 30 minutes before they came. My fiance called last night to confirm the appointment and was told that we were the first appointment on the books today and that the girls would be at the house close to 9 a.m. My fiance stayed home from work to let them in to the house. When it got close to 10 a.m., he called the office again and was told that the person he talked to the night before was wrong and that the girls would be at the house between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. and would call 30 minutes before coming. At 11 a.m., the girls had neither made it to the house or called to say they were on their way. My fiance called the office and canceled our appointments. To top it off, I got a text message on my phone at 10:57 a.m. today that said, “”Molly Maid Service Tomorrow. This is an unmonitored telephone number, please do not reply.”” Really? They need to get their act together and their scheduling straight. We confirmed that our appointment was set for today. Now, our time has been wasted, and my fiance stayed home from work this morning for nothing.

The dispatch office did not return my call taken by the receptionist. After 2 conversations with the dispatcher, the maids were located and lost in the parking garage. The dispatch office had failed to give the team my entrance directions. The maids did not arrive until 9:40. The team coordinator was unapologetic. however, the owner was understanding and polite. He was willing to compensate me appropriately for the errors. Overall, the maid team did a great job. They were polite and friendly and, most importantly, thorough. The dusting was outstanding. They not only changed my sheets, but my duvet, too. The kitchen looks great, as well! In the end, I recommend with reservations. If I were you, I woulc call to confirm your appointment the day before.

This company is absolutely horrible. They sent a tech., Jose, out to do a HVAC check. I ended up paying $170 so that the unit could be cleaned, as the tech. stated, “”Everything is running perfectly but the unit needs to be cleaned.”” So I reluctantly spent $170. Five days later a high pitched screeching sound was coming from our air conditioner. Our neighbor even came by to tell us about it. I called MBM to request a courtesy visit to recheck the system since it was within 5 days of the initial check, and they told me they would charge me for the full visit again (for another check), even though it is quite possible that something was missed during the “”check”” or that it may have been a result of the cleaning. They were scheduled to come out one week day between 8-10 a.m., and when no one came by 9:00, I called to make sure they were coming and that is when they let me know that no one would be coming (after I stayed home from work for them to come at a very inconvenient time!). They said they would call me yesterday to reschedule and to see what they could do to remedy this situation — no call yesterday and still no call today. Very unprofessional. Their website says, “”We arenВ’t satisfied until you are satisfied.В” Boy, I’m definitely not satisfied. I will be going with another company, reporting them to the BBB, warning everyone I know in my neighborhood and in Houston (in person and via listservs, and having another company come out.

Then he informed me on how to use every part of the Vacuum I had chosen, put a fresh belt on, suggested quality carpet freshener and added some to the bag so I could try it, and ordered an amazing accessory to clean my mattresses and couches with. We also talked about helping the community recover from this flood by having quality mold removal products and dry machines. He reassured me that customer service still exists. I came out way under budget compared to going to Home Depot or Lowes. I delt with no line or chaos.This will be a lifelong company I use for all of my vacuuming and cleaning needs!
