People from this company seem very nice and friendly when you contact them for first time, but once you have paid for the service and expect them to comply with their offers, they simply ignore you and don’t even care about your situation…….. I set up appointments for them to go to my house in different days to perform a maintenance work (covered by the warranty I had paid 6 months before). They didn’t show up and every time I called them requesting explanations they answered me they were going to make an internal research and contact me back…. something that never happened!! not even when I escalated my complaint and talked to different managers, they never called me back!! They posted the BBB logo on their website but they are not a certified business and they have been rated with an F (the worst one!!), I discovered it too late when I filed my complaint…… Unfortunately for me, the most help that I could receive from the BBB was to mediate in my case, but this company also ignored the BBB attempts to contact them, so my complaint was closed for ".no response".. After that, I just gave up trying to deal with this company and ".took my loss"…….

I purchased from AAA Clean Carpet but they sent out these guys. Do not use this company! Purchased services for chimney sweep on Amazon local for $59.00. When tried to schedule stated they were too busy and ended up scheduling over 1 month out. They never showed up that day. When I called their number they let it roll to voicemail. I left 4 voicemails over the next 4 days. Contacted amazon local and they refunded my money. 2 weeks later they called me back saying they did not get voicemail. Offered to come out the next day for the amazon price. Scheduled to arrive at 1:00 pm, did not show. Called at 1:40 and said they were on their way. Did not show up until 4. Then increased price to $172.00 because it “had been so long” since I had my chimney cleaned. Said it needed the”spin” brush instead of just brushing and needed sealing. He took the same brush he was going to use by hand and attached it to a drill. He used a trash bag that he got from me to put the debris in. Had handprints all over the white brick and trim around the fireplace and left a mess I front of the fireplace. The “sealer” was only a few places in the bottom of the fireplace. I was under the impression he was going to seal up inside. He then asked for cash to be paid. I paid by check. Huge red flags all over the place that I ignored. I normally research before purchasing services but failed to this time. Won’t happen again. I was taken by this guy and company. Don’t let it happen to you. I want a refund! I will be cross posting in every review place I can until I get a refund for poor, shoddy service.

I was supposed to have an appointment between noon and 5 on a Sunday afternoon . I cleared off all the small things that I could lift and put them on the non carpeted surfaces, and by 3:30 called the church and told them that it looked like I would not be there at 5 o’clock to volunteer. Like most people I live a pretty busy life and could have used those 5 hours to go grocery shopping and run other errands. I think it is incredibly rude that they could not have at least picked up the phone and called me. If for example the truck broke down, I am a pretty understanding person. But I think it is so unprofessional to not even give a client a phone call.

I give this company ZERO…that’s right ZERO stars. We bought this for $49 on Crowdsaving on 12/4/2013 and as of today 12/31/2013 they are no longer honoring any vouchers bought from Crowdsavings! John at DFW Steam King, told us that they have been having problems obtaining money from Crowdsavigns and that we could buy a Groupon or living social deal for $89. Well, gee thanks John! All I need to do is fork out more money for something I’ve already paid for. The problem here is, they should honor the vouchers already bought, stop using Crowdsavings in the future and take Crowdsavings to claims court. They should not PUNISH the consumer and perspective new clients…thatВ’s just bad business. This is a matter between DFW Steam King and Crowdsavings and should have no bearings on the consumers which are falling victim to FRAUD. I sincerely hope that no one uses this business and I hope they falter and cannot rebuild. I for one am an advocate for small business as I own one. However, when you do not honor services already purchased then you are running a bad business. I cannot believe a company would actually treat a consumer this way. When I told him we would call the BBB, he told me I should call the BBB on Crowdsavings. I understand his frustration with not getting what is owed to him, but what about what’s owed to me. I will be getting a refund from Crowdsavings, but that does not justify the actions by DFW Steam King. They are having a problem with a vendor and taking that out on their consumers. How horrific would that be if we all ran our businesses that way? Please think twice before purchasing your groupon or living social deal with this company. Who knows what they will tell you.

Even 1 star is a lot for their lack of knowledge and responsibility cleaning expensive fabric. I gave them my $1,000 beautiful suede and fur vest for just cleaning off the dust at the bottom of the jacket (suede side) in Feb of this year and this is what I got from them- see the photos. They told me their team has 10 years of cleaning leather and suede experience but someone with even a basic knowledge or not in denial can see how this vest is ruined. After my first complaint that the vest is burned, changed color, texture and now looks like a $20 vest (I had to make many complaints for them to even take this seriously), the guy at the counter first tried to get rid of me by being super rude but when he saw I wasn’t leaving, he brushed the fabric (of course with no change in appearance) and told me that would help the burned fabric. Yea you can remove the burned and change of texture with brushing fur!! After months of complaints and more than 100 emails exchanged with the owner they sent the vest to a who knows source and their letter says they don’t even see change of appearance. Like are you kidding me. And this is after I spent almost $200 paying them for basically burning my vest. It’s one thing to not refund me my money or at least the money I paid them to ruin the vest, it’s another thing to not even admit the change in appearance and that’s why I am leaving this review so people can see they have no clue (or are in denial because it is obvious to even the naked eye) how to handle quality fabric.

Found this dry cleaners luckily and they took it right out. Spotless might I say and the staff was very friendly. Even got compliments during my interview about my shirt looking crisp and clean. BEWARE!! I have been going to Eco Cleaners for over a year. I go back because it is incredibly convenient to my home. For a while, I overlooked the shirt per batch that was ironed incorrectly or where wrinkles were ironed into the shirt (which eventually ruins the shirt) but I started to keep track of it. I also started looking at what I was getting billed. They choose to dry clean what should be laundered (wonder why? It’s 3x the price), they keep collar stays and just put them in a big bucket for others to pick through and they significantly overcharge. Errant sock in the batch? No problem…they’ll throw it away for you! Errant undershirt in the bunch? No problem at all sir…we will dry clean it for you and charge you $6.99! So I decided to start pointing this out. Not only did they deny they did anything wrong (dry clean v. Launder (isn’t this my choice anyway?), not replace my collar stays and not re-do poor ironing), when I asked for a simple one time discount (I literally asked for $10), they told me they could not do that. I spent over $2000 with Eco cleaners in the past 12-18 months. They agreed with that figure and thanked me for my business. When I asked them if they were prepared to lose my business over $10, they said yes. That told me all I needed to know. They get away with this because of location. That’s it. It’s the only reason they’re in business anymore. My advice is to find another place and refuse to support people who could care less if you’re happy or not. Stay away from Eco Cleaners.

DO NOT USE KIWI. They quote you one price for the cleaning and add huge amounts to your bill if you request any spot removal/pet stain removal! Also, I had to leave while the cleaner was still at the house… He had me sign the credit card slip before he had finished and before he put anything on it. (My mistake! I trusted them.) We were quoted $120 for cleaning…and verbally quoted $120 for pet stain removal… (NOT per room). I added Living Room carpet cleaning and stain removal to this…and they Charged me $790. They are terrible at returning calls. The first 2-3 times we called them to discuss this huge OVERBILL – the agents are told to say that they cannot transfer the calls directly to their managers, even though they say they are standing right by them. Pet stains did not even come out! (Zerorez did so much better a job and charged a whole lot less!). DO NOT TRUST THEM! I would be willing to pay a reasonable amount but they keep pushing us off and refuse to talk to us.
