Had one 8×11 nylon carpet cleaned . It is old , but had been cleaned beautifully many times before. They told me it would be cleaned, dried and checked, and if it needed more cleaning they routinely do a second cleaning. when I unwrapped the carpet at home to put it down I was sick with disappointment. there were dark areas and stripes . it was obvious it had not been cleaned well . I cleaned a small area and rubbed off a lot of dirt. I paid for stain guard also can’t believe I got it. The people were polite and quick getting done the “cleaning ” job.

Horrible customer service!! I was quoted for two rooms including pet deodorizer, and then the day before my appointment I was called and told that they were going to have to raise my price!! I had confirmed my quote at least three times on two different occasions, and then all of a sudden they acted shocked like they didn’t know I had pets! I had a down comforter dry cleaned here which had been put on a hanger and covered with plastic while the blanket was still WET!!! (The blanket was only 3 months old, it was being cleaned only because my dog got pawprints on it.) The mildew smell in the down was awful!! They cleaned the blanket again but I could still detect a mildew odor. The problem was turned over to the manager, Travis, who then left me a voicemail in which he said he could not smell anything and that the blanket was not ruined because it was still fluffy. I returned his call, and what a gem he turned out to be. He was so rude and argumentative and had no interest in talking about it. I asked to speak to the owner and he said he was the owner. Yikes!!!

Horrible experience. First they scheduled the cleaning on the WRONG DAY and when I called to speak to the manager she was just plain rude. We ended up having to schedule it on the day after we moved out of town so we had to get the landlord to come in which, did not make her happy.. When we called to schedule it we told them the amount of rooms, stairways, hallways and type of carpeting and they gave us the amount, which i left as a check for them. Our landlord calls us saying we have to pay an additional $70 because they didn’t have us down for the upstairs bedrooms when we went over that, in detail TWICE with them. When we called a third time they took no responsibility, and said a manager would call the next day.. 2 days later i called back and was told they would call, another 2 days later i finally called the headquarters. And though the woman was nice, there was no resolution. I’ve used several cleaning companies before and this was by far the worst experience. They appear completely incompetent.

WONDERFUL! I recently relocated to an apartment closer to my job, and to my dismay, the unit I moved into was a DISASTER. Apparently, the management company had not CLEANED it after the previous tenant moved out. Let me just say that I was so horrified by the condition of my kitchen (especially my stove), that I sat in the middle of the kitchen floor and sobbed like an idiot for a good ten minutes. (The last person who lived in my unit must have cooked with oil EVERY DAY for years–because it was CAKED on the range/surfaces of the stove AND on my cabinets and countertops!) I discovered that the apartment complex had only one maintenance/cleaning person on staff, and that my apartment’s cleanliness was NOT one of that person’s priorities. So I took matters into my own hands and called VALERIE with ABRACADABRA. I’m so glad that I did–she was so kind and as a previous property manager herself, she was horrified at my situation and really wanted to help me with my predicament. She came with her crew the NEXT MORNING to do a top-to-bottom cleaning in my apartment while I was busy at work (the management let them into my unit and Valerie left me an itemized invoice to give to the manager for reimbursement). Valerie even called after leaving to let me know the job was done and to make sure it was to my satisfaction. Well I am beyond satisfied–my stove was like a different stove altogether–totally free of the sticky, nasty oil and residue left behind by the last tenant. The ceiling fans, which were carpeted with dust, were IMMACULATE. My venetian blinds were completely free of dust, carpet vacuumed, countertops scoured, refrigerator and cabinets clean and shiney! I recommend this company hands-down–you won’t find a better cleaning company than Abracadabra!
