When A-Abc Chem-Dry “”cleaned”” our light tan carpet that was one year old, they left a gray stain around the edge of the carpet that extends about one inch out from the wall in every room. They said this stain was caused by our cold air return. Which made no sense because it happened at the time of carpet cleaning. This company was unable to remove this stain, nor can we get rid of it since then. Before this company arrived at our house, our carpet had several pre-existing stains that consisted of some small dark spots / stains and one large coffee stain. This company was not able to remove or reduce ANY of these stains. They told us all of these are permanent stains that cannot be removed. After that, a lady who does housecleaning removed ALL of these “”permanent”” stains, including the coffee stain, using a few drops of Dawn dish detergent on an old toothbrush.

Everything was GREAT from the start! I had my carpets, sofa, and some chairs cleaned by Pro-Clean on Tuesday. It was very pleasant right from the start. The receptionist was very kind and helpful for all my questions. They called they evening before my appointment to confirm with me. The following day I received a call around 8:00 am with my two hour window time. I was busy with other things so I wasn’t able to answer. I called back the office to confirm my window time and the receptionist was very pleasant. They two cleaning men were well within their window time. They were very professional and a delight to talk to. They did a great job and my carpets and furniture look brand new. I even got the deodorizer and now my house smells so refreshing. It’s a shame reading some of these reviews below.. I guess people just like playing the victim trying to get as much free stuff as possible. We had decided to try Above & Beyond Carpet Cleaning due to a special they were running in a local mailer. In calling to reserve a time, I was put on hold numerous times, but finally set up my time for today, Monday, July 15. I spoke to the owner directly who recommended that I choose the time range of 3-5pm because the cleaner would be here close to 430pm, which would lead to less interruptions in my day. After completely prepping the house and moving furniture out of 6 rooms, I receive a call at 430pm saying they would be running late and would be close to 6pm until they arrived. I expressed my discontent, but realizing people run late, I understood. Then at 615pm I receive a call saying that they would no longer be able to clean tonight and suggested I reschedule to Wednesday. Mind you, my house has furniture in every which room and has been completely prepped and they recommend a time 48 hours later then I was scheduled. Completely unsatisfactory and dissappointing. I, as a homeowner, count on quality companies to provide services and have been completely let down by Above and Beyond. They not only cancelled after they were already two hours late, but then no apology, no “first thing tomorow” make up, no nothing. Completely unacceptable and I highly recommend you find another service provider.

2 weeks ago i responded to the businesses craigslist ad, to get my dryer duct cleaned. He came, looked at it, poked around a bit then claimed to be blowing it out. I was taking care of an 8 month old ans was unable to supervise him when he was outside, i have no idea what if anything he did. About an hour later he tells me it’s all done, my vent is clean, and i owe him 60 dollars.I pay him, and he leaves, I assumed to go get paperwork and my receipt, but instead he just leaves.I run a load in the dryer and discover that it still takes three hours to dry a load. Assuming that my (new) dryer is at fault, i call sears since it’s still under warranty. sears repair tech comes out, tests airflow with the vent on, tests airflow with the vent off, proves to me vent is still clogged.I call mid west air care back, tell him what’s going on, ask him to stand by his work and return to fix the issue, he tells me he cannot return until next tuesday (5 days later) tuesday comes with no word. I call and get voicemail. leave a message asking him to call me back and let me know when to expect him. no call back. called again today (wednesday), this time was sent straight to voicemail. left another message, still no call back. These people are a scam, i don’t know that he did anything except take my money, and refuse to stand by his work

My first 2 services were cancelled, which I took off work to be home. They showed up in goofy looking bow ties and dress clothes and i wondered who going to be working. Well, wasn’t them, that’s for sure. No Presley was used, no furniture moved and house smelled like dog piss when they left. The carpet was so wet still that in 2 days it was dirtier than before. No refund was offered and now I’m out $200 for nothing. Run away from them!!

Hands down the best carpet cleaning company in C-bus. The crew at Apollo are exceptional! I called on a Wednesday to schedule a three area cleaning. They were available to come the following Monday. They gave me a call Monday morning to let me know they were on their way and showed up right at the scheduled time…wearing ties! (We’ve had other carpet cleaners show up hours late or not show at all). Apollo went above and beyond…cleaning our stairs and a wool rug without charge. They even used a fan to dry the carpets quicker. (Other companies we’ve had simply leave them damp and warn you not to step on them until the next day.) Our carpets looked brand new when they left. Very friendly folks. Great prices. Even better service. Professional and courteous.

There are three different techniques we use to rectify your pet odor situation, depending on what we feel has the highest chance of success, but they all have several things in common. – We apply a urine stain remover and high breed enzyme. – We hot water extract the infected area at 230 degrees (boiling water is 212 degrees). – We apply a urine stain remover and high breed enzymes again (not available in stores, commercial use only). In most cases those three steps resolve the issue. However, if the stain is deeper we can take additional steps to resolve the problem.

I hired these guys because of the service they claim they do on their website which includes Pre-Vacuuming, Pre-Conditioning, Pre-Spotting, Agitation, Hot Water Extraction, and Carpet Grooming. All they did was Pre-Condition and Hot Water Extraction. My carpet looks a little better, but not great. Also, when they were done, they just pulled the hose through the house back into their truck. It banged it’s way along my walls and down the hallway … all the way out the front door. The only reason why I gave them two stars is because I do see some difference in my carpet. But I will never use them again.

I called originally a few days before thanksgiving and the answering machine said they would call back in 30 minutes or less. I figured they were busy due to the holiday so Wednesday I used the online scheduler for an appointment for Saturday at 10 a.m. 15 minutes past the scheduled time someone calls to say they do not come to Newark on the weekends and they would reschedule for a week day if they could.be the first appointment. I am furious that no one noticed this days before so we could’ve looked elsewhere and not moved all the furniture to the porch. Rescheduling for days later was the only option and they didn’t care that they’d confirmed the appointment without noticing the location. What a joke!
