We contracted J&M Commercial Painting to complete extensive interior and exterior repairs and painting, to help us prepare our home for sale. This work required a significant amount of painstaking detail work, which required skilled, meticulous painters. In all areas, the work far exceeded my expectations. I have worked extensively with contractors in Southeast Ohio over the past 10 years, and have generally had terrible experiences. They are largely unprofessional, they donВ’t finish the job on time (or they donВ’t finish it at all), they arenВ’t conscientious, they donВ’t communicate with you, they often try to overcharge and in general they have left me with a bad impression of contractors. Mike and Camilla Butcher showed me that there are still contactors out there who are professional, honest, conscientious and truly care about getting the job done right. Mike promptly offered a reasonably-priced bid, had a crew out within days, checked in with me everyday to make sure I was OK with the work that was being done, and promptly resolved any issues that I identified. His foreman, John, and his crew were courteous, hard working and highly skilled. They showed up on time and got the job done right the first time. As a former business owner and a current business professor, I have a pretty good grasp of what professionalism looks like, and J&M epitomizes it. J&M painted almost all of the interior walls, ceilings, and doors of our home, cleaned every carpet, stained our deck, and pressure washed the exterior of the house. Our house looks great now- the best it ever has! Mike and his crew were professional and responsive, and the work was completed quickly with minimal disruption to our everyday lives. J&M stuck to their estimated prices and allowed us to pay via PayPal, which was a big plus for us. We would highly recommend J&M to anyone!
