I called Hammer about evidence of mold under my kitchen sink. I told them I was very worried and upset because I was getting sick. I also informed them of what other remediators had said I needed to do and that they all had different opinions and that I wasn’t sure what to do. After few minutes I was told that they “did not want my business” when I talked about getting an inspection to see where the mold was and if there was a water leak by drilling holes and using cameras and special mold detection equipment. This company showed no in depth understanding my distress or the options available to me. This company has a lot of connections with contractors and businesses but those references do not know the real quality of the company. The reiew is a warning to future potential customers. I do not believe this company has your best interest in mind. They will do major restoration without concern for the long term needs of the customer and fail to recommend many options that may be necessary to prevent future recurrences of the issue and better target the problem.

Worst duct cleaning experience ever! My experience left with me a very dirty house afterwards. And the vents are still dirty. The vents weren’t sealed before the cleaning, so the dust & dirt from the vents went flying all around the house. It’s common practice to seal the vents in the house to create a good suction, and to keep the dust and dirt from getting into the house. The areas directly around the cold-air returns were just black from dust/dirt expelled during the cleaning. The tarps were dirty with dried, caked-on mud on each side of the tarps, requiring considerable cleaning of the newly finished hardwood floors. I contacted the owner, he asked to see the job. We set up the appt for the next day at 11am-1pm. I asked a call when on his way. After we had left the house, at 1:30pm, I received a call from one of the workers of the original crew as he was at the house. Not the owner as expected. Also no call letting me know they were on their way.

Booked an appointment online to have duct work cleaned, but they never showed up. They said they called 2 days before, but my voicemail was full. They never tried calling my husbands phone number which was also in the information. I traveled an hour each way and sat at a house under construction for 4 1/2 hours to only find out they werenВ’t coming. Customer Service sucked all she did is read the notes from what someone else put in the computer and then preceded to tell me the next available appointment was almost 2 weeks out. I will definitely not use this company for any of my properties again!!!!!

He went above and beyond what would normally be expected to get some very nasty stains out of our 25-year-old carpet that other techs had given up on. It actually looks new again. I consider him to be one of those dying breed of workers–he doesn’t give up until the job is done right. Extremely rare these days.
