Absolutely thrilled with Tom and his crew. Professional, friendly & made this old house shine 100%
★★★★★
Tom does a excellent job on carpet and furniture cleaning, stains we never thought would come out – came out. Everything looks as though we had just bought it new. Even the drying time is better than others. A water backup problem we had in the basement, when he was finished, one never new there was ever a problem. He’s hard working & totally dedicated to his profession- Plus you do not have to be there, he is trustworthy & dependable. His quality of work is above the rest.
I just completed a large-scale restoration job (over $80,000.00) with Right Away Restoration. I found them to be entirely ill-equipped for a job of this size and scope. In the beginning, they spun half truths about what they could do and in the end they did NOT deliver anywhere near the professional, satisfactory, acceptable finished job that they promised. Juli Sauve, owner/operator, of Right Away, mistakenly sent a vulgar text to my cell phone, which was meant for her workers. Her management of this job was no better than her text message management. If you can avoid using this company I suggest that you do. You will be avoiding incompetence, endless aggravation and unprofessional attitudes.
★☆☆☆☆
If you find yourself in a situation where you need a restoration company, you are already under enough stress. Save yourself the trouble. Juli Sauve of Right Away Restoration is a nightmare. We hired her to clean the structure of our home after a house fire, wanting to give a small business the opportunity. During the initial consultation, she was sweet, caring, and very promising. Once she was given the “go ahead” to start the job, communicating with her became difficult and she was very hard to reach. I scheduled several appointments with Juli to meet at my house so we could finalize details but she cancelled at the last minute every time. What she had claimed would take about two weeks stretched into three, then four, with not even half of the job done. The only hold up was that her team rarely showed up when she said they were going to, with Juli making one bizarre excuse after another. My contractor was forced to delay other jobs, we had to rent our temporary house for an extra month, and no progress had been made at my home in weeks. My contractor finally informed Right Away Restoration that he was starting on a certain date, no matter what. Again Juli promised me that she would have 6 techs at our home in the morning to bang out the rest of the job and finally complete it. Nobody showed up. Again. It took me over four hours to finally reach her to tell her it was over. After letting her go, her staff came to my house to get their stuff, and they ended up taking some of my items as well. I asked her to send me a bill for what I owed. Several more weeks went by. When I finally received the bill, it was for over double the amount that my professional insurance adjuster had estimated it would cost to clean the ENTIRE home. She had charged for cleaning parts of the house that were never cleaned, structures that didn’t exist, and had grossly inflated measurements. (Fortunately I had followed their progress with photographs, so I knew exactly what had and had not been done.) I requested a copy of the bill in “line item format” because she didn’t have cost listed per item, just the grand total. Juli refused, saying she could only give me a “customer copy”. We went back and forth for months. In the meantime, she persuaded another company that had worked on the textiles in my home to give her the name of my insurance company. She then sent my insurance adjuster a completely ridiculous email trying to get them to pay her directly. They refused, and contacted me to let me know what she was trying to do. I finally had to hire a lawyer to settle it so that I could just be done with her. The whole ordeal took nearly a year. I absolutely, without a doubt, DO NOT recommend Juli Sauve or anyone from Right Away Restoration.
