Very prompt and professional! I recently bought my home and one day after taking a shower in the upstairs bathroom I went into my downstair bedroom and noticed some water dripping from the ceiling. I called my home warranty company and they sent out two really shady guys. The warranty guys were clueless and really not helpful at all – basically they told me that it’s probably not the drain and that is all they would cover. I was about to throw them out when they recommended Adams D&R. Two guys from Adams showed up like 20 minutes later and compared to the home warranty guys they were a breath of fresh air. The Adams guys were well-dressed and professional, they used some high-tech gear to look through the walls and see where the water was leaking. They wrote up a professional quote and laid out everything for me and they even contacted my insurance company to help me submit a claim. In the end, my insurance company denied my claim so I didn’t have any work done, but my shower is still broken – fortunately, I have two other bathrooms! .) I’m low on funds because of a recent home purchase, but when I have the funds…I’ll call Adams to get the work done because I feel confident that they would get the job done *right* and *fast* and when you have water damage you want the repairs done correctly or you’ll just end up in the same situation again.

The first floor of our home flooded and I called Adams Disaster & Restoration. Shane and his crew came immediately!!! They dried the first floor for 72 hours and sanitized every nook and cranie. These guys did an awesome job of removing any trace of mold!! First they sealed off the area well! Next they ran dehumidifiers and air scrubbers to clean the air of mold. Then came the hard part – wherever walls got wet, they removed the drywall 2 feet up (on both sides), then scrubbed the 2x4s clean. They scrubbed the floor so clean, it looked like a different color. Jermy practically insisted that I have a couple of people come out and confirm there was no bacteria/mold left behind – so we had someone come out and swab the floor to look for bacteria, and another guy do air samples to look for mold, and both came back clear. They really seem to have their clients best interest in mind. I was shocked by their attentiveness and sensitivity to my situation. On top of how awesome they did. Shane was so helpful throughout the entire process. He explained the importance of doing it the right way and not making any short cuts. He worked with my insurance agent and made sure I got everything I was entitled too! It was like we had a lawyer on our side fighting for us!! They also did not make me pay a cent more then the insurance gave us!!!!

I wish I had done some investigation before I made an appointment and let these thieves into my home. They truly don’t even deserve 1 star like iris826 said because they do not honor their advertised prices. I hired them to clean my duct work for the HVAC system and they proceeded to put on a very theatrical show about how horrible the mold is in my house despite my good mold inspection report that I had done a month ago. The lead technician supposedly called someone at the laboratory that did my mold testing and they tried to discredit my test results! Then he quoted me $3000 to remediate my home of mold. I said absolutely not because I only wanted them to clean the ducts. Then they dropped their price to $1500. When I kept saying no, he called his “”manager”” and said they could give us a deal of $800 if we did it today. I still said no and I said I wanted them to leave. They wouldn’t leave because they said they expected to do work on our ducts… ha! I wanted them to do work too, but it was obvious they wouldn’t do it without a nice price tag on it. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. The worst part is… the lead technician had a trainee with him. Way to keep the fraud going at this company!

I needed a quick fix. Coupon came in the mail. When I saw there machine I should have said NO Like any company there will always be hidden fees. Thats where they take you. They used our hot water and I can tell you the water was not hot because we control it. Save your money go buy a Bissel carpet cleaner and do it your self. They just left and I’m kicking my self for letting them do the job…..DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst company ever, please DO NOT use them. Over priced thieves. I was charged 142.42 for livingroom and 9 steps. Mind you special was “9.95 per room.” Worst part is they don’t even move couches or any furniture. Run and go with an honest company. Steps were $3/step which is fine, they weren’t even bad but wanted stain in one step to be removed (still there, shoker), stains still all over livingroom, carpet isn’t as dry as they make you believe they will leave it, left it extremely wet. And don’t waist your time calling them back to complain, they are not customer friendly and can care less about customers satisfaction. And while posting review just noticed they charged for 9 steps when they cleaned 8
