I am pleased to provide this review, which I should have done a long time ago. I initially used Allen Rapid Dry to clean the carpets and some dining room chairs in my home. Greg and his other technician were extremely careful with my furnishings, they made sure my place was cleaner when they left than when they arrived, and just everything about the experience was top drawer. I later had them clean several upholstered customer chairs at my business (about 20 of them), and again they did a fantastic job. About six months later I had them clean the carpets and about 20 more customer lobby chairs at our tax office, and “again”…. an exceptional experience. My reason for leaving this review is that Greg and the way he conducts business, from the quality standards of their work to everything else, has been very consistent. I will never use another company because I know what I will get every time when I call Greg. Consistent quality and very reasonable prices. Truly an amazing company worthy of many more than just five stars in my book.

I would not ever recommend Alaska Chem Dry to anyone. I made an appointment to have my couch cleaned on a Friday afternoon. I had to make arrangements to leave work early and when I got home AK Chem Dry called to reschedule for Saturday afternoon because their van broke down. AK Chem Dry was suppose to be at my house to clean my couch at 12:30 on Saturday and they never showed up. At 1:00, their tech called to say that he would not be able to make it and would have to reschedule. So we rescheduled for the following Saturday at 10:30 AM. At 11:00 still no one had showed up and I called to find out if they were going to make it. The same tech said he had the appointment scheduled for 11:00 and would be on his way shortly. At 11:30 he called again to say that the machine was broken and would not be able to show up. That is two Saturdays in a row that I was stood up and my weekend plans ruined because I was sitting around waiting for AK Chem Dry to show up instead of out and enjoying out short Alaskan summer. I would never venture to use this company again nor recommend them to anyone. If you want to you furniture cleaned I would recommend calling a company that actually shows up for their commitments.

Great service. Worked with my busy schedule on multiple occasions. First used while renting in college. Then when starting my first rental of my own. Have used multiple times and plan on calling him here in a few. Gave great free advice on filter replacements on our HVAC to reduce and even remove the dirt buildup on the edges of the carpet where air is lost throughout the house. Has worked very well. And can’t beat the price!

If I could leave 0 stars I absolutely would. Disrespect to a customer who hired the company and had the cleaning set up. The man is rude, hangs up on people, and blows them off for their own mistakes. I would never recommend this company, and will be reviewing it every possible place I find available for public review.
